F1, of course. Nascar is almost unheard of in Europe. I wish they would have more F1 races in the US though to market the sport better over there. And a succesful American F1 team with top drivers.
Way back when.... when the guy who owns the Indy speedway, and I guess the right to the name... they split the series into two parts..... and then drivers got older and retired... and then 2nd series died off, leaving juts the IRL (Indy racing league).... and it was never quite the same... to me anyway. So I mostly follow F1 and NASCAR. I am pretty happy to have 2 F1 races back in the states (next year in NYC area)... which should lead to more interest.Quote

You're doing good, Max. What about Indy Car though? We had a very successful Indy Car driver here from Karlstad, Värmland, Sweden namely Kenny Bräck. He had an awful accident though and had to retire (he's doing well now by the way). He drove for David Letterman's team (have forgotten the name of it). He won the Indy 500 in 1999.

I was in France back in April and was looking for something to watch on late-night television.
After flipping several channels, I found the live broadcast of the NASCAR race from Martinsville, Virginia with French announcers.
Surprised the heck out of me.

Fernando Alonso....(If our companies/politicians in Spain were as good as our sportsmen...)
"I cannot find a single weakness in Alonso from any viewpoint. He's huge asset to the sport as a whole. I think he is perfect". Niki Lauda, three-time Formula One champion.
"Alonso is the best..." Sky Sport 24 TV . Bernie Ecclestone
I have been 20 years in this business. I regret losing Alonso. Martin Whitmarsh, McLaren-Mercedes Director.
Cesare Fiorio, Ferrari Director (Ferrari, Ligier and Minardi).
"I have known more than 300 drivers in my whole life. Alonso: the best"
Emmerson Fitipaldi. "Technically he is the best."
Jackie Stewart "I do not care what Ferrari says about resources. Ferrari has the best driver".
