A St. Louis institution at concerts. Everyone who frequented shows knew this guy.

Sad way to go for someone who loved to dance.

Interesting.

My wife and I are NRBQ fans, and in 2008 we went to St. Louis for a trio of shows by the Terry Adams Rock n' Roll Quartet (which Terry would start calling NRBQ a couple of years later).

Beatle Bob was at the third show which was at a club called Off Broadway. Everybody there seemed to know him. We talked for a few minutes and he was a very nice fellow. Visually, he did remind me a lot of L.A.'s own Rodney Bingenheimer.

He was quite a standout in the crowd with that whole look. Of all the faceless people you encounter at shows, here was one guy who was actually memorable.

RIP Beatle Bob.

A very complex person known for his look, his dancing and his Sticky Fingers.
