USA Discography First Press, MONO or STEREO tracks?

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask a question about the first 5 albums of the American discography:

London PS 375 - ENGLAND'S NEWEST HIT MAKERS
London PS 402 - 12 X 5
London PS 420 - THE ROLLING STONES, NOW!
London PS 429 - OUT OF OUR HEADS
London PS 451 - DECEMBER'S CHILDREN (AND EVERYBODY'S)

These 5 albums were released with the words “STEREO ELECTRONICALLY RE-PROCESSED” but are all the tracks actually STEREO or are there also MONO tracks?
Thank you all.

Electronically Reprocessed Stereo is not true stereo. It is something that is made from mono.

The list of of the early tracks in the form of true stereo mixes (and where to find them) is here
[www.lukpac.org]

The rest early tracks were originally mixed to mono.

Sorry, can't tell you what US records contain those true mono mixes.

Thank you for the answer. I saw that there are two slightly different covers for each album.
One says "STEREO" and the other "STEREO ELECTRONICALLY RE-PROCESSED".
What do you think the very first versions were like?
Thank you

I would be interested to know why the U.S. label, London, released their stateside LP’s in ‘electronically reproduced stereo’, when, the DECCA releases were mono-only - I think - until Aftermath? Was there, at the time, such a demand for stereo in the States? It is odd, as there are genuine stereo mixes from 1964-65. Why not use those?

You can always ask Jan about vinyl and variations. I believe, he knows almost everything in the field winking smiley
