I highly recommend this photo exhibit at the Annenberg Center - "Who Shot Rock and Roll"

from socal but unfortunately in desert in SW Asia at the moment....i am personally very happy the Stones have postponed the 50th 'tour' because i won't be home until jan 2013 and now i won't miss them....selfish yes-indeedy but i will gladly switch places with you-all and let the 'tour' start now!....Stones Tod--if you don't live in cali...congratulations..you're the only one on the planet who does'nt, it seems...very crowded,high taxes,roads coming apart,stupid PC 'laws', and no NFL team....the good news---multiple Stones shows every tour..LA,san diego,anaheim,fresno,san jose,pasadena,san francisco,oakland,sacramento,...aaahh..maybe not so bad after all!!!

check it out - there's a nice film that screens there as well about the photographers - it's all very well done - the curator i interviewed in that article is not a big music fan, and i think that helped her pick great photos as opposed to just great music photos

Actually, with all the mind-numbing closures near wilshire and the 405, you could easily be sitting bumper-to-bumper at 2am these days

Yes, there have been a number of days when I was coming home from the club about 2 AM during the week and the FWY was jammed because there was only one lane each way open due to construction.

hbwriter - Thanks for pointing out this exhibit. My daughter and I went on Saturday and it was very cool, much better than I had expected even. We loved the documentary, the access photographers had to the various bands back in the 60s and 70s is mind blowing! They had a great variety of photos of various artists on display, a very enjoyable hour or two.

If some of you are in the area go check it out, the exhibit is open Wednesday through Sunday.
