Sad...I vaguely recall him from the early '80's, and might have even seen him opening for a bigger act around that time...

He was big in St. Louis too, seen him maybe 5 times and actually had tickets to see him last summer which Covid cancelled.

Great band, great songs, always seemed on the cusp of a major breakout.

Stagepass is a great live album. North Coast and Heartland are great studio efforts.

Rosewood Bitters and Let's Get the Show On the Road are classics.

I used to wear my North Coast shirt in college and those not from St. Louis wondered who he was, one of which I married and was finally going to show her last summer, but like many things didn't happen. In fact just last month when going through some old pictures at my parents house I found a picture of me in that shirt from my 18th birthday party.
