I went to see Van Morrison once (having seen Them in the old days) at a place in Mill Valley in the 90s I think it was. It was a very disturbing experience. Part of it was pretty brill. But there was this really strange kind of feeling coming from the stage, don't know exactly how to explain it. Pretty uncomfortable. Pretty weird. I didn't notice it in that video but it was very pronounced, maybe stage fright or something. Kinda haunted and haunting at the same time.

The place is still open, still called the Sweetwater, by the way. Greatly updated as well with excellent sound. If Van still lived around there I am sure he would be appearing there. its right down the road from San Anselmo, where it very rarely snows.
