I've never heard of the Slim Harpo Awards, and I doubt Keith will show up(let alone play), but I bought tickets anyway. Figure it's worth a trip to NOLA for a few days, and I've never been to Baton Rouge.

Jazz Fest time N.O. (approximately) and in Baton Rouge you're close to Avery Island (home of McIlheny-Tabasco sauce) and Breaux Bridge. Great time of the year for festivals: [www.tabasco.com]
