I remember Bill German saying Hampton was filmed w/ the best film technology had.

Welcome Hampton!!!

I hope this year.

The official release of the audio "bootleg" would not make much sence then, but it would please me a lot.

It must be down the line. Make a few quid off the audio download (it kills me that even saying CD makes me sound old), and then when it's all quited down again, need some product at Christmas time this year or next, voila, Hampton DVD. I would imagine if they tour that all of this video product would dry up for a while. They probably don't want to compete with themselves.

Perhaps one day...that was the answer I would've given a year ago..and the same one I'll give today. I don't think the recent Hampton audio release has any impact on when we'll see it.

My dvd boot of this show won't play anymore. I would buy the "official" release of this dvd It could be a legal matter if it doesn't get released.

OK - I'm new to the Stones party here - but if they have the footage, why wouldn't they release it as a DVD? Probably a dumb question - but I'm blonde - I get to ask one dumb question a day...drinking smiley

Mick probably does not want people to remember the outfit...

I think we all know what I am talking about...

There is no one single reason we can formulate. That question is as rhetorical as asking "why don't they open the vaults and release some unreleased recordings?" Obviously, they have started doing this but before they started the StonesArchive, it was something we all kept asking.

I´d prefer a stadium show of that tour.

Why release stuff we already have?

The term "almost" is crucial here..

The proper mix of Under My Thumb (the intro in particular) is worth the price alone - the boot/broadcast mix sounded kinda dull. The rest of the show remixed from the orginal multitracks are bonuses for me - not really necessary, but, hey, the wole thing is so cheap and I remember the times when I paid top money for the show on different bootleg labels again and again and again, so this one is a bargain!
