she is the drummer on Cypress, by Let's Active. one of my favorite albums ever, was also the drummer in Snatches of Pink.

I read Dex's heartbroken post announcing this just before going to bed last night, which made for sad dreams. Sara was an awesome drummer, and all-around great human being. I knew her mostly as the drummer in the Dex Romweber Duo--saw them several times and was blown away every time. RIP Sara, 55 is way too young, and my thoughts are with Dex and the rest of her family and friends (of whom there are many).

I saw Let's Active once, when they played McCabe's.

They were so used to playing noisy bars, they were kind of unnerved by the non-drinking, attentive crowd. They joked about how weird it was to perform in front of an audience that was so quiet during the songs!

I remember "Crows on a Phone Line" being one of the highlights.
