Andy was drummer for the Cure during some key formative years. Great drummer. Cancer got him. Was hoping he would live for the Hall of Fame induction but the disease was too far along. RIP.

Saw him at the 1400-seater Sankei Hall, Osaka, Oct 15, 1984 — The Cure’s Japanese debut. A powerful drummer. Only two days after, he was sacked from the band when they finished the Tokyo shows. Heard of some eccentric behaviours. Sad.
