I remember years ago Eric Clapton gave the Stones an award (Hall of Fame ? ) and made the comment that they'd never sold out or words to that effect - apparently the Cream Falstaff beer commercial still annoys him. I often wonder if he's heard the Rice Krispies commercial and what his reaction would be. Personally i think it's a rocking track, one of their best early numbers and my nomination for best Stones commercial. Tied for first place (best commercial by a rock band) with the raga/drone Jefferson Airplane Levi ad - right now in your white levis available on the 2400 Fulton Street compilation.
By the way there is a fab 6 or 8 cd set of rock commercials - ads for milk shakes (The Who), Join The US Airforce (The Who again what was PT thinking) and many others. The only untainted band i can think of is our great friends The Beatles.

I'm trying to figure out how that Rice Krispies commercial is a sell out. It's a great sounding track - I've always wanted an extended version - and probably rocks harder than anything on Between the Buttons.

Just saw a teaser commercial for the new Mercedes Benz, and it used Sympathy For The Devil.

Didn't know this—that I saw at your YouTube account—existed. I love running across gems like this—a gem because it's the Stones fully participating, and not clips pulled from files and pasted together.
