After morning soccer games chilled out this afternoon before going to a wedding listening to the much maligned 70s Stones. Goat’s Head Soup, It’s Only Rock ‘N Roll, Metomorphisis, Black & Blue. Some great stuff. Hadn’t listened to Metomorphisis for awhile forgot how much I enjoyed it. Anyway they rocked this decade like all the rest!!It amazes me they have been so good for all these years and most bands are done after a few lps.

It's so very lonely, you're 2,000 Light Years from home

I've always loved GHS and BlackAndBlue; when first discovering the Stones in early 90s I wasnt aware of what was considered prime cuts vs filler matetial. GHS I thought was excellent, and Black snd Blue was one of the coolest albums I'd heard - 8 tracks grooving between reggae, jazz, funk, soul and rock'n'roll. Still love both to this day.

IORR isnt as good as those but is a fine album in itself. Fingerprint File, TWFNO, Luxury - damn good stuff.
