Macca wrote Come & Get It for Badfinger.

Great pix...I was mesmerized. He has such boundless energy and drive, and the band looks so committed to the music. Thanks for sharing.

Merry Christmas all.

Great pictures, thanks for sharing, they make me smile. I would go to see Paul again immediately.

I would also be happy if thewatchman stopped poluting threads with his stupid spamming and would stick with his own sick threads, quoting himself five times in one post. A am a huge both Stones' and Beatles' fan and his one sick idea he keeps on repeating on and on makes me wanna puke. I can somehow avoid it not reading his threads, but since he strats to spread it to other threads, it is harder and harder to escape it. I try not to be offensive to anyone on this forum as hard as I can, if I find some thread stupid, I don't read it and I don't post, but this time...

I note Macca is doing an album of standards: he did very well in 1963 on Till There Was You, so this could be something special. I have heard his version of Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying, and The Very Thought of You on Tony Bennett's Duets Vol 1 album. He is good at standards, although he has now written a fair few himself.

Check out Carleen Anderson's version of Maybe I'm Amazed.

Forgot to mention Junk by Anne Sofie Von Oter with Elvis Costello on For The Stars.

Another standard by Macca
