I love Chuck's original Promised Land, but also love the following covers:

1. Johnnie Allen
2. Elvis Presley

Shane MacGowan even rewrites Promised Land as Paddy Rolling Stone; its not bad either.

Wee Wee Hours is Chuck doing the blues.

I also have a liking for Back to Memphis, Tulane, Brown Eyed Handsome Man.
