At times when it seemed that Jagger didn't want to work on a Stones project, I often thought how cool it would've been if the other Stones (with Bill Wyman) toured as Dylan's band. Being about as big a Dylan fan as I am of the Stones, this would be killer. I know that Keith and Woody are friendly with Bob, so I liked to consider the possibility. Plus Dylan used to like to use other famous bands as his backing, like The Band, Tom Petty's Band, The Grateful Dead. This would have been cooler had it happened before Bob's voice reached the ragged state it's now in, but I'd still go if such a gig were ever to happen. Bob's "Real Live" has a somewhat Stonesy sound thanks to Mick Taylor.

well, i actually like that aspect of it. i just think the idea has little merit as this presumably has no reggae element to it...and for tele to fall all over that just to suck up to gazza is a little tough to stomach...

I may sound like I'm sucking up by saying this ST, but I agree, you do suck and I for one have never seen you suck up, and I appreciate your standing up for your ideals, on the issue of sucking up-ishness.
