Excuse me fellow Stones fans - I'm not that much of a techie and do not belong to any recording/tech forums so I thought I could try this question here.
I downloaded a bunch of old Stones outtakes from various sources and when I made a play list after putting them in my iTunes they sound great and the compilation came together pretty nicely with one exception - a bunch of the songs all have different volume levels - not a major biggie and I know how to adjust the volume on each track using Goldwave editor, but that's a bit tedious...I was wondering if there are any programs out there that would equalize the volume levels on a group of tracks like this?

Correct. If you use specific software for that, like Nero f.i., there's always(?) that opion. If you wanna do it mannualy, song-per-song, I'd advise Audacity. Very handy tool!
