"Sympathy for the Devil" by William Shaw

Has anyone read this novel? It begins at the time of Brian's death and the free concert at Hyde Park in 1969. I'm struggling with it and haven't got very far.
Is it worth continuing?

Bought the German version of that book. Stopped reading it in the middle as I couldn't get along with the basic statement of the book any longer: Brian the good, all the others @#$%&. Terrible reading ...
