Vika, and her sister Linda, are simply amazing. They are so "close" that to hear them do harmonies and backups is stunning. I'm a huge fan of their work.

The Rockwiz Orchestra are similarly good. The drummer is the long term drummer with the stupendous Paul Kelly. I'm a huge fan of the work of the members of the Rockwiz Orchestra.

Tim Roger is a over-rated has-been former star. Some years back he was one of a group of 4 from the same 'generation' who toured a concert of The Beatles' White Album. It was VERY good. They repeated it about 3 years ago, and for most of the time it was even better (and even the curious No9 got huge huge applause - which I never thought I'd see!), but Mr Rogers spoiled the night. Perhaps he was ill. Perhaps he had had some personal issues, but there's no getting away from the fact that the night we went he was an embarrassment.

But, listen to it again, 'cos it's very good.

The gig sold out in about 30 minutes!

Yeah, but Ash Naylor and Peter Luscombe didn't do it as they were on tour with RocKwiz.Dan Kelly and Gus Agars stood in for them.

Thanks Rockman. Book would probaby be an interesting read. I've hung out with Tim a few times in Seattle. As above, have heard he can be difficult but he seemed to like me & actually played a request for me the last time he was here. It's a pity they never really caught on in the US. So much great music in your part of the world that is relegated to cult status here. Best show I've seen this year was Midnight Oil in May. Go if you can! & I've been watching Neil Finn's Infinity Sessions & they have been fantastic.
