OT: Canned Heat (incl. Harvey Mandel = not OT). More Stones-connections?

Never knew that Harvey Mandel was in the Canned Heat line up for Woodstock 1969.
I've loved Canned Heat for ages and from now on Harvey Mandel even more because I know he plays the solo's on HOT STUFF and MEMORY MOTEL on BLACK & BLUE.
Canned Heat bassplayer Larry "The Mule" Taylor auditioned for the bass seat after Bill left and played with Keith on some tracks together for Tom Waits albums.
Any more Canned Heat - Stones connections?

Well, both Alan and Brian kicked ass on harmonica & slide guitar; both dead at 27.
