My bridge just keeps popping up around the globe...now the BBC is in on the act. This on the heels of a bomb that the National Guard accidently dropped last week on the parking lot of Darlene's Tavern. My little home town ain't seen this much action since the 1600's when the Claibornes and the Calverts fought over whether the Island belonged to Maryland or Virginia.

I had two in the late 70's, U2Stonesfan. I was moving into my apartment with my roommate in the car with me, when I got rear-ended. I'll never forget my friend jumping out of the car before we even came to a stop, screaming like a banshee and running straight down the center of the road. She was terrified the car was gonna blow up, I figured she was gonna end up slattered all over the road by the passing cars. That was the end of the first car...incredibly, my father replaced it with another Pinto. I think he figured if I survived the first crash without a big kaboom, I'd be fine with the next one. I really wonder sometimes how I survived into adulthood.

Yep, it was pretty awesome to watch.

The guy in the second down pic on the right side is a 92 year old WWII vet, been putting Model T's together for fifty plus years.

That's impressive, I wonder how long it took them to put together a model T in the twentys, lol.

.....there was a clip on Tube some time back showing these guys taking apart a Model T ... and another showing the same for US Army jeep ...
