Ann Wilson is great, but this version doesn't do it for me, HTF. Kinda lost interest half way through. But, thanks for sharing! smiling smiley

I couldn't get all the way through it,
but thank you for posting, it is always interesting to hear someone try it.

Yeah, I don't usually go for anybody redoing the Stones. It's like rewriting the Bible. But for what it is, she does a decent job but I join those who wish people would leave Stones songs to the Stones. I think the only cover that ever won my heart was Linda Ronstadts's Tumbling Dice....

My opinion for what little it's worth...It's interesting and admirable to hear an artist cover my favorite band, but no artist -to my ears - has ever topped or even matched the Stones doing the Stones. Some things are just so perfect they should be left alone. Hell, there are even certain Stones songs that are so iconic that the Stones themselves can't do them justice live....but at least its the Stones doing it.

I like Melanie's ruby Tuesday

Dead flowers from the big lebowsky soundtrack (I think it's from Steve Earle)

Sway from escovedes

And govt mules stones cover show is interesting

But that's it for me

To cover the stones better than the original is almost impossible

No painter seriously tries to redo Van Gogh's Starry Night. And if they do, no real Van Gogh fan takes it seriously. Ok, I know...music / painting; apples / oranges...or maybe not.
