Such a cool plane. I love all the little details. I would love to take a look into the Stones plane as well.

The 'Ed Force One' was publicly to see at the ILA Berlin Air Show, Germany, June 1, 2016:

Very cool, wish they'd add an Irish date! I saw them in 2010 and 2011, and they were brilliant I must say!

'The Book of Souls' is a good album but manically overlong; compared to Megadeth's new album which is a thrilling fretstorm, TBOS wouldn't be as exciting, but as a Maiden album post 2000, it's one of the better ones.

Yeah a 737 to carry 15 or 20 people, very eco-friendly! eye rolling smiley

Dickinson probably takes his Ferrari to pick his mail from the box...

I hear you.

At least Iron Maiden travels with their entire road crew and all their stage gear, so it makes a bit more sense.

I think the Rolling Stones entourage are more than 20 people, because the RS Touring Band alone consists of 11 members, plus (partly) their families, plus other Touring Staff ....

Actually, they used a 757 eight years ago on their Somewhere Back in Time retrospective tour, as documented in the excellent documentary, Flight 666.

But this time, they're using a 747, which is QUITE over-the-top. They claim that it's for their massive stage show, but the sets are no bigger than they've used on past tours, so it really boils down to an elaborate publicity stunt.

As a huge fan of the band, it's a very COOL publicity stunt, but a publicity stunt nonetheless. It's basically a toy for Bruce to play with at this point.

There is also quite a big difference in range, without refuelling stops.

Flight666 was very good alright, I remember seeing it in the cinema - and have seen it many times since.

What're your views on the new album keefriff?

Best comment on that photo: "Judging by that shot, the UK should leave EU and join Iron Maiden"

No, they still have 20 odd shows in Europe. But they will not use the plane for the remaining shows.
