Some great videos making Gimme Shelter and Merry Clayton singing GS

Somehow I like MC's singing of GS better than Lisa.
More power and singing in the voice / less screaming (sorry Lisa).

Lisa is an underrated singer but no one can beat the studio version, which is PERFECT.

I don't think they can't beat the studio version although this one comes close in some parts it's better the tension the tone the spirit...Mick sings it with more conviction...actually this version sound real .....I almost get scarred confused smiley

thanks for those great clips.

what a great song to listen to all the layers like that. Not just the vocals. It's like you can hear Keith capturing the essence of the lyrics in his playing.

What a great @#$%& track. They have never topped this.

Plus . . . just as relevant today lyrically.
