The Timelord actor told the audience at a special advanced screening of the first two episodes of Doctor Who's new series that Bowie would make a "very good" guest on the show.
Capaldi also told the audience at the Cardiff screening that he would love to see "Keith Richards stumbling around the TARDIS, knocking out a few chords".

At one stage Dr10 wanted to see Ian Dury & The Blockheads by going back in time. I think it's referred to in the Idiot's Lantern episode in Season 2.

I don't even like Dr. Who, but I'd be wiling to watch an episode or two if they got those two on...Always thought that they should have tried getting Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend on an episode.

I love Doctor Who, especially the early doctors.
Always wondered if the Stones and Doctor Who(tv show) crossed paths. Also what the band thought of the show.
