Long time listener of Jimi Hendrix ...never noticed he made some jokes by playing Stones and Beatles intros through out his songs

Yeah, Jimi almost always tossed in the "I Feel Fine" riff during live versions of Hey Joe. Some of his extended solos drew in other melodies and riffs. I always wondered why he threw in the Satisfaction riff seemingly out of nowhere during the Randall's Island show -- who knows what passed through his head or what he saw in the crowd that made him riff on that briefly. Jimi was like an antenna picking up all kinds of wonderful sounds out of the air.

It came from a concert that he made with curtis knight in 1965. The concert will be released officially by Hendrix label and mixed by eddy kramer.
