TeddyB1018 has proved to be a reliable source for the past couple years so why question his word? We know Keith was at Ed Germano's studio with Steve Jordan earlier this year. Jimmy Fallon gushed about visiting the studio and how great the track(s) he heard sounded. So why doubt TeddyB1018 when he says Keith's been a fixture in the studio since then?
We can expect something from Keith within the next year. Not September 2011, but sometime within the next year is likely. We will know more details when they are confirmed or someone decides to talk. Until then, be happy Keith is working on new material.
I don't expect an album of laid back lounge numbers. Keith's lead vocals with the Stones fit a designated niche. Listen to the lyrics to "Infamy." Expect something raw that will send chills up and down your spine. Have a listen to "Still a Fool" or "You Win Again" to gauge where Keith was at a decade ago outside of the Stones sphere. Give VINTAGE WINOS a spin and imagine the rest. You'll probably have a good idea of what is yet to come.

These guys are nearly 70 years old - anything they feel like doing is a bonus. I admire Mick's work ethic and will buy the Superheavy (terrible name) album and listen with interest and enthusiasm, Ronnie was on TV in UK tonight and looked fantastic with his Faces and is obviously a little younger and a little poorer so maybe still wants/needs to keep busy. Charlie has his Jazz band and Keith wrote his book so they are all still doing things, just not together. I have not read "life" but from what I gather maybe it was the death Knell for Mick and Keith working together. I love Keith and I love the Stones but the man himself is maybe not so wise
