What's the difference between the outtakes, live etc and "there good boys when they are asleep"?

It looks good...not sure the differences between this & Five Guys Walk Into A Bar...seems this is more album centric...of course they want us all to buy both.

Looks like this set needs to get bought to go along with Five Guys.. and Good Boys.. collections. I like the album format. Curious about the sound/re-mastered? For the most part the old lp's sound great along with bootlegs. I play them mixed in with the cd's, but with many newly re-mastered material it often just gets louder at lower volume. I prefer just turning up the records to get the full impact of the warm analog recordings.

The addition of un-released songs says this one is worth having. Would be cool to get some video released as there are some good ones from The Faces that would benefit from some touching up and some audio tweaking. My God, can't there just be a group of fans that have the technical expertise, knowledge, and passion for the music that could put together some great packages for a fair price paid for work invested by the record companies/bands? There is SOOOOO much material(audio/video)laying around that is just waiting to see the light of day. Someone needs to get on this stuff before times takes its toll on the original tapes. It just needs to be organized.

I have all the Faces albums, etc. and a few early Rod Albums up till Foot Loose and Fancy Free. My girlfriend and I are going to see him later this year, I enjoyed the Time album, but are there any albums that I need to have from after Foot Loose until Time? I do have When We Were The New Boys, his cover of Rocks and Cigarettes And Alcohol I think are smokin'.

The CD's were mastered in 2007 by the usual Rhino team but held until now. The vinyl was apparently done this year by Kevin Grey, who is a top man.

You mean they made an entire box set out of that song from Voodoo Lounge?

imo rods best albums after the 70's are ranked like this
a spanner in the works
when we were the new boys
out of order
vagabond heart

that tells you imo you need at least 1 more album after the 70's

I don't see What Made Milwaukee Famous in the track listing. Am I missing it? Skier Jones is also missing.

Nice, but will not buy it. They need to release two of the three live BBC shows they did and some tracks of which appeared on the Five guys boxset

This is a box I would buy

Disc 1 - Live 1970 (complete Fillmore West - soundboard exists
Disc 2 - Live 1971 05 13 Paris Theater BBC plus bonus songs from live TV
Disc 3 - Live at The BBC 1973 04 01 Paris Theater
Disc 4 - Expanded Coast to Coast live album
Disc 5 - Live in 1975 03 07 San Bernardino

Skier Jones? I had to google this - turns out it's from some namesakes of the mid-60's!

What's really missing is Jodie, the B-side of Rod's Oh! No Not My Baby (Jodie was credited to Rod & Faces back then in 1973.)
