Does anyone know of a Japanese fan club?

Trying to track down this guy I met at the O2 who has a California license plate with KEEFRDS printed on it. He's from Tokyo and works at a TV station or something in communications.

There used be a Fanclub in Japan called Stones People, run by Yuji Ikeda. I used to be a member, actually still am, but I haven't heard from the club in years. Thanks Timbernadis, now you got me going again to get in touch with that guy.

Stones People Japan is still running, still by the great Yuji Ikeda and his helping Japanese friends. One magazine per year approx. Great pictures and features. One of the best actually. Highly recommended.

I just had a look at the old magazines. I now see that it is Stone People. I joined the club in 1990 after seeing an article about the club in Dutch fanzine Shattered. That was all before internet, so I wrote an actual letter to Japan and had to go to the bank to get the fanclub fee transfered to Japan. Quite exciting then. The 1st issue I got was #55 about Steel Wheels in Tokyo. The last one I got was #75 from April 2002, with an add for Mick Jagger's Goddess in the Doorway and Ronnie Wood's Not for Beginners. After that it all went silent. Have been in touch with Yuji a few times by email, but I really thought the fanclub stopped.

I remember getting a japan fan mag also with a great boot review in japanese for the most part but the ratings were in english, pretty sure its the same one

yes!!!!!, thats the one, i remember i picked up a couple of issues in new york at the excellent record store called revolver which very very sadly is not around anymore thanks to all the snitches , wow they really saved the world by getting rid of a store that sold boots, lol

Of course Yuji wants overseas customers. Although customers might not be the right word. I am a member of the fanclub since 1990.
