I remember I saw a documentary (i believe) in which there's a brief interview with Donovan in which he tells about Keith and his method o writing songs. Something like: "I play to songs of Gene Vincent in a row and the third is mine..."

It was Buddy Holly, not Gene Vincent - in other words,

ya'all know that Donovan Leitch "adopted" (not sure how legally but perhaps so) Brian Jones' son, Julian....i once met Julian at a show of Donovan's in the 1980s. he sure looks different now...he refers to Donovan as his dad, but here's his song about his real dad

wOW. That was a trip. With some decent production, that could be an OK tune. Did Brian acknowledge Julian as his son? And if so does he have any interest in Brian's estate? I'm guessing not or he might have been able to afford a video producer.
