Anyone in the NYC area - GO FOR IT!!


WANT TO BE IN THE NEW HBO SERIES PRODUCED BY MARTIN SCORSESE & MICK JAGGER?
Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking the following:
People to portray psychedelic rock fans, punk rock fans, disco club-goers, early hip-hop fans, 1970s NYC pedestrians and Connecticut residents (men with shaggy hair/side burns/long hair, women without highlights), people with 1970s cars, and ‘60s Warhol Factory types.
Filming Summer/Fall 2015 in NYC.
Open Call will be held on Tuesday, April 21, from 10:00am-12:00pm for SAG-AFTRA members and 1:00pm-4:00pm for Non-Union at Church of St Paul the Apostle, 405 W 59 St at 9th Ave. Attendees should be prepared to have a digital picture taken.

I can't go along to the casting as I live in the UK but I've done extra work before and it's fun so anyone thinking of going along you should do it you will enjoy.If you get the job be prepared for a lot of hanging around and waiting so take a good book.
You might get to be in a Scorsese picture.

But how many rock and roll fans and punk fans actually still look like rock and roll and punk fans? Looking at a Stones audience from the 70's and a Stones audience from 2013 is quite a contrasting experience. The freakiest Rock fans are now investment bankers and the craziest looking punk fans are now doctors and lawyers. Although I'm sure they could find some extras for the psychedelic fans at the Dead shows in Chicago this summer.

Natural dear, the idea is that extras are supposed to look & act like the listed types,
not that they have to be those types in real life. They call it acting for a reason, you know! :E

Surely they are only looking for people aged 14-30 for the fans, because that is who attended the concerts back then. I guess older people could be NYC pedestrians

What's wrong with highlighted hair? It's been around since the early 60s.
