Plenty. The Walk Under Ladders album was more uptempo but look for I Love It When You call Me Names for my favourite uptempo Joan song.

Not the uptempo type the OP is looking for, but certainly uplifting....

Rosie - a new one on me - reminds me of Simon!

edit -

be like me - be yourself - be more like I tell ya!

(Hoping to see her this autumn).

I now discover that Rosie was on a 1979 ep.
Was this her 'reggae period'?

Holy shit -- I forgot Simon -- such a great tune!

As I recall, she's from the West Indies, so these sounds and rhythms aren't all that far away from her vibe
of origin, you know? PLUS in the late '70s/early '80s so many people were playing around with ska and reggae,
weaving it into their music.

Where are you going to see her? I've seen her a bunch -- mostly in the '80s, once in the late '90s.

In Britain - a small island - simply too much choice!

Berwick, Hereford, Scotland?

She says it's her last 'major' tour.

I suppose 'solo' means just her and her guitar.

Yes - fond memories of that.

Found this. More up to date - and our Joan on electric.

Some nifty reggae riffing in there too.
