Same here, but then I find the couple bottles of wine start to kick in.

Taking a week off from work...good for you, colonial!

Okay, here's my pre-concert advice:

Don't drink much of any liquids starting about an hour before the concert...that eliminates the multiple times to the bathroom part, once is all you need.

Don't eat much either, but eat something cause otherwise you start to run out of steam half-way through the concert.

Ladies, don't bring a big purse, find a small one that you can wear across your shoulder or just put essentials in your pocket...and for gawd's sake, don't wear a fanny pack!

Not gonna tell ya, its gonna put the Americans off.

Googled it, crawdaddy. Oh my (she says with a slight blush) ...no, no, no, that's not what I'm talking about...putting your essentials in your underwear sounds damned uncomfortable and impractable (how to get to your lipstick, without causing a riot?), I can't think how you would enjoy any concert that way.

The language barriers do create some interesting misunderstandings here sometimes, but the Americans know what I'm talking about. See, even men wear them:

It just made me laugh out loud when I saw it at the end of your post.

My ritual by the way are meeting fans before the gig, but having a little bit more than one pint of lager before the show.
This applys to every gig I go to and O.K. when seated but GA shows not so good depending on venue and how far away the loos are.
