Does anyone know if it is standard procedure to fence off the different priced sections at the stadium shows?

No. That's not standard procedure in any stadium I've ever been to.

At a Hanging Rock show last year there was sometimes one security guy standing around between sections (in Stones' terms, between PC1 and PC2), from time to time casually looking at tickets. ie Not very serious.

Dangerous...I nearly lost my life on such a concert with Ramones in my youth....don't know if I was particulary randy though, but there were that f-ckin fence...
