Nicky was so important in 1967-1969. He and Keith were closer than Keith and Brian. Monkey Man, The lantern, Sympathy for the devil, Salt of the Earth are good examples of this team. In 1972 Nicky was buried in the mix sometimes, but he remain as the 6th stone, playing all tunes live excepting leaving Brown Sugar and Sweet Virginia to Stu.
