I don't get it.. I really don't. SuperHeavy didn't make any waves. Nothing. It died on impact.

Almost certainly yes, almost certainly this documentary is just the story of
the first album, which will be fascinating, but has nothing to do with now.
But let's all hope they've been working in secret on that rumored second album,
and that this film is part of the lead-up to that.

SH's album doesn't put ANYTHING in the shade, unfortunately. It turned out to
be not much more than Alfie part 2. Because it was WAY too much a Stewart-
Jagger production. Dave is very talented, but he's no force to be reckoned
with, as Keith was.
The potential for SuperHeavy (which is still there) is as a Jagger-Marley
production. If those two ever share the helm, and hammer shit out between them
the way Jagger and Richards used to, then you would almost certainly wind up
with something killer.
So there it is. My New Year's wish for the world.

I still haven't received my SH cd from Bjornulf btw...
My mailman must have stolen it to preserve what I have left of sanity...

I thought it was an interesting project. And I personally loved the record. It was very different from the things the Stones does, which is why I think the whole project was worthwhile. Jagger wanted to do something different. I feel sorry for those who thinks that Jagger only should be doing Stones music. And I feel sorry for Keith who is obviously being so lost in his musical past.

Everything Mick Jagger puts his name on will sell. At least for a short moment. He can put his name on a turd and millions will buy it. The real test is: Will it still sell after six weeks or so?

SH had their original jam session in 2008. That means this is their FIFTH
ANNIVERSARY!!! So all kinds of special things are planned for this year...
Besides the documentary:
A full color brochure!
A new 30-second jingle!
And a full twenty minute live show in Dave Stewart's apartment!
Its gonna be great.
