My friend from Spain is not a Stones worshipper, but comes close. He went to both O2 gigs last year, Hyde Park last Saterday and will go again this week.
But this was the first time he was really critical:
1. No surprises at all in the set list
2. over crowded in fos 2 - far away over priced for what view/space you got.

I decided not to see the Stones anymore after they played only one song from ABB during a gig in Koln in 2006 and because I think the playing from keith and Ron is far below par.

Instead, I visit Springsteen last Sa. in Paris and last Friday night in Monchengladbach:


Out of the 29 songs he played in Gladbach, only 9 were played in Paris where he played 30 songs (inck. a 3 song acoustic 'support act' )

+ one song he had never played live before
+ one song he had not played this tour so far

And the E-Street band rocks. They know how to improvise and can almost play any song requested by the audience.


And both in fos 1 and fos 2 there was lots of space to move.
Not to mention to 90,- we paid for these fos tickets....

And even my friend, who visited also Springsteen in Paris and Wembley admitted, the Stones cannot even get close to Springsteen these days.
