There might be an issue with the Stones starting a 2h20 show at 8PM though, broad daylight...good for pics and vids though!

Actually you can still reach that 2pm site over What's On -> Full Event Line-up -> Rolling Stones.

Actually they have two different pages stating different doors times.

Actually they are pretty stupid.

But 12pm hast to be right, since there are bands on the other stages starting at 1pm.

that doesnt mean the music starts at noon IMO. You'll be lucky if the gates open by then.

Theres no way that a show with five acts on the main stage - four of them playing shortened sets - is going to take over ten hours to complete.

I'd be surprised if anything starts before 2 pm.

Its not their own show. Its a festival.

The Stones however will be responsible for how long they choose to play within the confines of a curfew. There's no way BST are forcing them to play an abbreviated set.

The US shows had no opening acts, however. This has four. However, they have all day and there's no practical reason why they cant play a similar length show to what theyve been doing up to now.

Its not uncommon, however, for bands headlining festivals to play a set shorter than they usually do. Glastonbury had 20 songs - the US arena shows averaged exactly 22 songs and were about 10-15 minutes longer.

I think anything shorter than Glastonbury would be pretty derisory, to be honest - especially as Hyde park are the only shows in Europe this year which Stones fans could actually get tickets for.

Gaz, I thought of Glasto being the festival and
both Hyde Park shows as Stones shows with
a few bands opening. It´s "The Rolling Stones
plus The Vaccines and The Temper Trap" on the tickets
and not "The Hyde Park Festival featering the RS".

Anything shorter than 2 hours would be totally disappointing.
