OT: Enjoyable Book a la Dowton Abbey

This is a book that many IORR ladies should enjoy or those who know English history.

"Long Live the King," has been recently published by longtime English writer Fay Weldon. It is set in 1902 and is VERY amusing. I believe that LateBloomer among others will love it.

By the way LB, loved your posts re your recent Stones gigs.

Thanks for thinking of me, stonesrule, I do like English history. Summer is a great time for me to catch up on reading, so I'll check out Fay Weldon.

I need all the distractions I can right now as I'm going through a serious case of Stones tour withdrawal. Thankfully, a friend just sent me some great CD's so that will take my mind off of missing the boys on tour.

Take care and come east if they play MSG!

YOU will fall in love with this book. Not the same old same old

Re MSG, yes that's the American show I want to see. Nothing beats the Garden...hope they don't change it too much.

Sounds like a good read. I'll give it a go!
