Mick's Voodoo Lounge SftD Attire

The way Mick dressed for SftD on the Voodoo Lounge tour was totally brilliant -
could someone post photos of the full regalia (hat, shades, suit & all), please and thank you kindly?

I believe there is one at the end of the "song that set the hook" thread....I think Max posted it. That was a great gimmick.

Nevermind....it was the VL B2B thread, and its a cartoon

Hey now, that is referred to as a reasonable facsimile winking smiley...

and Yes I was surprised I couldnt quickly come up with a bunch of cool pictures, but.... as fast as these threads can come and go and/or get deleted, I am not allowed to spend more time searching than the algorithm specifies for the various possible likelihood scenarios, and in this case time ran out, but Id love to see some cool pictures of this too... great idea/thread with sssoul

Thanks people - keep the photos coming, please and thank you!
That really is the definitive look for that character,
and I too was surprised I couldn't immediately come up with good shots of it.

Here's the only one I seem to have in my files - great shot of that wonderful Junior,
but it doesn't quite show off the brilliance of the Mick's attire

If I recall correctly he came raising up through the floor, he had on a cool pair of roundish sunglasses, was wearing his cool VooDoo hat and coat and he was shrouded in billowing smoke/fog.... it was awesome! it said... "Welcome to the VooDoo Lounge!

I never noticed before that there were two hats.
The simpler one looks cooler. And the shades are crucial.

thumbs up Agree on the shades...

I saw this tour on a bunch of stops, mostly up close and I thought it all worked perfect... the music, the look, the staging, the times.... it was great everytime.

That VooDoo Lounge attire that Mick is wearing isn't based on Baron Samedi?

... isn't it?

Really? He should retrieve it to replace the current gorilla cape

Maybe Mick can't go there anymore because Ulli Schroeder has 'sort of' claimed it.

btw, has anyone spotted him at any shows lately?

Ohhh nooo, open-g - don't make me wince like that!
That should be illegal. A crime against coolness.

(I have of course seen him on past tours - I just never imagined him in the same breath as Voodoo Mick.
And there's another fan who has a similar get-up, isn't there?)

I thought the subject of this topic was Mick's SFTD attire? What's up with the random Native American image (slightly racist tone maybe...hmmmmeye rolling smiley

And why are people insulting fellow Stones fans?

Makes no sense but it does strike me as a bit rude.

Ronnie's print of Mick's fabulous costume:

Funny how no one yet was mentioned that his "Sympathy for the Devil" outfit was originally his "Love is Strong" outfit.

Thanks darlin - I love that photo. It's by Anton Corbijn, from a shoot in June or July 1994.
Corbijn brought a lot of odd garments to inspire them even at the godawful early hour he'd requested the shoot.
I've always wondered if that wasn't the seed of the idea for the Mick's wonderful outfit
