Are they using Mick Taylor to keep Ronnie in check?

I was wondering if the Stones are using Mick Taylor just to keep Ronnie Wood from partying too much before shows and threaten him with replacement if he does. 2 songs on most nights and them a glimmer of hope for more Mick Taylor when they gave him 4 songs and now back to 2 in Toronto. Could this be?

You are mistaking my Ronnie Wood post for a Mick Taylor post I guess. Always amazed at how fast the conversation drifts off subject here.

How many years has Ronnie been sober now? Two? three?

I've been trying to figure out why MT is not used more.

Maybe for the same reason Bill Wyman wasn't used more?

They both quit the Rolling Stones, they are not in the band.

I think the Stones are treating this as it's been advertised, a celebration of 50 years and here's a former member out here to do a song or two to honor his past contributions to the band.

As detrimental as it may be to the band's shows and their future endeavors, Mick Taylor is no longer a Rolling Stone.

I doubt they would let him back in.

If they made a new album, MT might quest in the studio for a song.
