L.A. Blues / L.A. Friday - BEST dvd?

A renewed love of the 1975 TOTA since hearing the excellent 'L.A. Friday' last year

Quick Question for those in the know - what's the BEST version of the L.A. '75 DVD?

I saw it first on 'Rock und Raush' years ago, and then got a copy of the full gig but the sound was very muddy, the picture not much better

I have the 'Apocalypse' version on DVD now, picture is good, sound is very good, not as good as on the 'L.A. Friday' Official release last year but darn good nonetheless

Is there a better version of this great show than the 'Apocalypse' version?

Of course you are right and I thought of that, but not everybody can do torrents.
4 Reel is at least on eBay!

4reels LA 75 is about the same quality as Ganja "la blues" from Ganja, Munich

Jeesuz.......!

Falo's matrix (with lower gen video) is far superior to both)

Again.......Jeesuz!

Concerning the original questioner/thread starter......he seems to think that the awful July 11 show is the same as the official July 13th show.....so he's a bigger fool than even you, Munich. So don't waste your tears

how do we know for sure that the july 11 and july 13 shows aren't the same. just because they happened on different days?

Of course I know, but they reduced the quality by reducing filesize into 1/3 of the original. Did you know that Jeppe ?

May i ask if the clips from your DVD is still on youtube? I have it on one of my harddrives but i haven't burnt it. As i remember it it's a dual layer and i can't burn that.

Many thanks!

There's a better version now called The Singer Not The Dong. Worth checking out for all the extras.

My copy is on the GANJA 63 label. It totally sucks. It's dark as hell and the sound is bad for half of it.

Hi,
Is there a way to get the full uncompressed The Singer Not The Song version ?
I can pay for it if someone's interested.
Thanks for your attention

Thanks for the info

I knew the video is for the 11th and the audio release was the 13th - was just making a comparison to the sound, the sound on the Apocalypse version is very good, much better than the older copy I had.

The Faolo Matrix I'd seen here last year but I don't torrent so haven't seen it; used to use bit-torrenting from the infamous PirateBay and wrecked the last PC^

Can't remember the label of the "The Singer Not the Dong" DVD. But Mayflower also released it. Probably not as much compressed as the beforementioned title. [www.giginjapan.com]
But of course one shouldn't pay for this. It was free, via torrents, in the first place.
