Hello fellow Stones fans!

I'm an artist and long-time Stones fan; thought you might enjoy seeing a few of my paintings of Keith and Mick. You can see them here: [fineartamerica.com]

Thank you!

Carole

Nice! To my humble opinion I think you are very very good in capturing and representing the expression of their bodies if you know what I mean. Put in other terms, what I want to say is that if these paintings were just shadows, black, with no face characteristics or whatever on them,I would instanlty recognise Mick and Keith!

I'm sorry, but that painting of the black dude in the Dodgers uniform doesn't look like Darryl Jones.

artofstone. I saw your paintings and I like them! One question: These red and green tongues are made out of letters, numbers or something like that?

thank you kirk.

yes, you're right. these tongues are all written by hand on canvas.
they are influenced by the "double-title" of these songs.

the red one (i can't get no) satisfaction): red writing: satisfaction, i can`t get no written in black......

orange: heartbreaker(doo doo doo)
green: its only rock'n roll (but i like it)
blue: pass the wine (sophia loren)

it took some time to realize it, but it was quite fun to see the visitor's reactions at the exhibition.

Great! About the 'dripping' SUGAR painting, it shares a concept with Doom and Gloom. Where is this exhibition? Just in case...

Thank you for the information! I just have the opportunity to travel two or three times yearly due to the nature of my job, so I just wanted to know where this exhibition is, if it is an on-going event etc.
About ideas now, well, you should get in touch with Ron Wood smiling smiley
