OT: David Byrne's new book is a great read about music industry

I picked up How Music Works on a whim at the library and am pleasantly surprised.
It has a ton of info on the music industry (record companies, labels promoters, studios, etc). After reading Byrne's book, I feel like I better understand how and why the Stones went "Vegas" beginning in 1989. Makes me think it was needed to pay back CBS Records when the Stones failed to deliver album sales in the 80s.
