Travel writer Robert Reid (Lonely Planet, New York Times) chimes in with his own highly opinionated top 50 list of songs by The Rolling Stones posted on 25 May 2012 in honor of the band's 50-year history.

Reid tells of the impact The Stones have made on his life: "The Stones changed my life ever since I became a fan at exactly the wrong time, just after they released their last good album: 1981's Tattoo You.

"So I’m making a list of their Top 50 songs. This is my list. Stuff I think is best, most important, most ridiculous, most Stones. Happy birthday Rolling Stones. May your next few years be better than your past 30."

Actually according this this dufus, and his list, the Stones turned 25
and that was it... which so fkg wrong... and thus nullifies his list.

No probs, Max, thanks for posting. He does at least give props to the 1995 version of Love In Vain that appears on Stripped, and Thief In The Night does make the list, but, true, it's otherwise all 1965 to 1982--which means he would fit well here on IORR. And who knows, he may even actually be among those who post in this forum....

Yup, he would fit in with the closed minded people here who do their blind deaf dumb monkey act towards awesome songs like "Saint of Me", "Doom and Gloom", "Out of control, "Back of my Hand", "Rough Justice" and many many mnay other great songs released by Mick and Keith since 1981.

....yep another list BUT I like the cats style ...
