65000 Tickets Sold in Three Minutes for Hyde Park Concert

Most of you have already heard this, but this is mind blowing. This must be a world record for the most tickets sold out for any performance, rock concert or other, in such a very short time.

The Stones continue to be popular even in 2013, over 50 years after their inception. Back then they were young and cool looking. They are now much older and maybe a little flabby, but they still grab everyone's interest. I guess this means they are still relevant.

I was able to buy tickets hours into this, cheap seats at face value.

Something is awry.

To think that 65,000 people would all at once rush to pay nearly a week's wages just to sit for 2 hours in a public park.

Let me clarify by saying I'm not going and had no intention of going. I was just curious to see if I could buy them so I went to the point of entering my personal/card info and opted out.

They were the cheapest tickets and a pair of them. What were they, 95 GBPs?

I was surprised they were still available but other people were posting their delight at 'just buying' them so this bears out.

I have no idea how they can say they sold out in 3 minutes, it just isn't true.

How can you think that the concert was sold out in 3 minutes ? Sorry but it's not the reality. You can find a lot of tickets on Viagogo and Cie. It's a shame.
