What ever happened to early stones drummer Tony Chapman?

The man must have some interesting memories? Is he still alive?

He was a member of The Preachers which morphed into The Herd.

It was him who introduced Peter Frampton to Bill Wyman.
Don't know what he's up to now though.

The most recent mention in the media of Tony Chapman was on 15 March 2012 in an article by the Daily Mail on the postponing of The Stones' 50th anniversary tour:

The band’s first concert is listed as being at the Marquee club in central London on July 12 1962.

The members of the band at that concert were Sir Mick, Richards, the late Brian Jones and Ian Stewart and Dick Taylor, the band’s first bassist who went on to perform The Pretty Things.

The drummer that night, meanwhile, was Tony Chapman. He was soon replaced by Watts and little is known of him.

Despite a brief spell with other bands in the 1960s and early 1970s including The Cliftons, The Preachers and The Herd, Chapman fell off the musical map.

He is rumoured to be living in Liverpool but it is not known what he is doing or if he is still actively involved in music.
