Yesterday when I watched the Cream clip, it led me to other Clapton clips. ( Sounds like an STD from the 70's - 'the Clapton Clip' lol). I saw a vid on 'the truth about Patti, George and Eric'.
Clapton recounts the events, and then Patti. I am amazed at how they differ. I guess EC needed to reconcile it all in his head; to where he could live with it. So in his mind George didn't care, was cavalier about it, and even asked for a trade-out girl in return. "Hey it was the 70's..."
Patti says he was furious, and they went home together.
I have always thought Patti to be very, very beautiful.
