There is always the studio. Maybe they spend their 70's and 80's recording new music? They do "country" as good as anyone - just a thought.

Like Clint Eastwood told the midget in 'High Plains Drifter', "you live with it".

Zip. Zero. None. Seeing that no one controls anything to do with it.

I got a life back on January 18, 2003, and have kept it ever since. Didn't have much before that. The Rolling Stones are my life.

Ah, the eternal vicarious kind. Well then. That solidifies some things that were nowhere near a mystery.

It is highly unlikely that things will change much on this board if the Stones decide not to tour. Many continued to post here despite the fact that they really didn't think they would ever perform live again. Not sure exactly what it is, but the Stones have a powerful hold on many of us, including yourself, obviously.

Yes, it would matter to thousands, but since, (if given a choice) I would take a new album over any further touring, I would be just fine with it, provided we get the 50th anniversary shows on DVD at some point in the very near future.

The Rolling Stones are one part of my life. Before the shows last year I had reconciled myself that I wouldn't see them again. And I am now doing the same.

I would use the time and money on a trip to New Zealand - always has been one of my dream destinations.

I like the Stones, one of my favourite bands. But here it's mostly entertainment, with the likes of you and all the other yous that respond to each other; the idiocy is popcorn demandingly hilarious.

Then there's other more "normal" entertainment.

There is some good stuff here and there - bits about the recording sessions, outtakes, remixes, edit versions, videos, some shows, gear, hype, etc - actual interesting things. The things I would guess this board exists for.

I don't post here due to what the Stones might do in regards to touring. I've always had hopes for outtakes etc to be released some day. I'm simply a fan that digs a good bit of their albums and always gives their new material a chance.

And digs the entertainment usually.
