Just had the pleasure to watch this great music documentary about the unknown singer-songwriter Rodriguez. The doc has now been nominated for an Academy award.

I have lived around Detroit for 55 years. I can honestly say that neither I, or any of my music geek friends, had ever heard of this guy until recently.
