Just read the HELLO! "Daily News" article. I noticed that when describing Sally Humphreys, they put the word "beautiful" in "quote" marks:...."Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood married his "beautiful" sweetheart Sally Humphreys"....

Why do you suppose they "did" that--put the word "beautiful" in "quotes" like "that"? Were they trying to make a "point"? Or was it a "dig" at Ronnie "Wood's" "beautiful" sweetheart Sally "Humphreys"? I just don't "get" it....

probably many people thought of Keith as a bestman, but it was Paul....because he was so supportive...as it is reported - well done!

and personally I think the bride is pretty and beautiful (without " " - which I hope was a misprint in the article)

Oh no, Paul and Rod are going to make a band and steal Woody.

The "Beautiful" was quoting Ronnie's words further down in the article.

No Rolling Stones mates at the wedding?

Mick, Keith, Charlie...?

I bet they are probably not pleased that he left Jo and are probably on her side. I bet she was close to all of them too. Makes sense for Keith not to be there since he probably thought he should stay with Jo. Maybe??

Hmmm. Mick introduced him as "Ronnie wedding bells Wood" at the shows - not sure that he would have made this reference if he felt negative about it.

seems very strange that Keith and Mick weren't there. Again, points to their relationship within a business partnership, rather than friends supporting each other.

It's not so strange they weren't there. They had holidays planned and Ronnies wedding date wasn't planned as long before their holidays.
But I suppose you could fly to the wedding with a private jet...

Ronnie says nothing about it but maybe there's a message to Keith in what he says about Paul & Rod;
They have always been very supportive of me and Sally,” he said.
Ronnie had taken Sally to Paul’s wedding to Nancy Shevell in 2011. “Paul was saying at the time, ‘Wow, this is wonderful, you two make a great couple,’” said Ronnie.

By the way, as far as I know Ronnie & Mick really like each other and are very good friends...

I do hope Ron and Ron didn't sneak off to shove some coke up their asses. It wouldn't be fitting somehow.

might be a tight fit at that.

I agree with whitem8...really points to the 'business relationship' aspect of their partnership.

I wonder if they'd even fax each other if the band dissolved.
